Gordon, with more than 20 years of industry experience as an owner, manger and industry consultant, works with clients nationwide, from start-up companies to those with more than 100 employees providing financial, operational, tax advisory and exit planning services. He is a frequent speaker for the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), PLANET a national trade association representing more than 100,000 landscape industry professionals, as well as state associations and industry software user conferences. He is also a sought after facilitator of industry peer groups. A frequent columnist in several pest and lawn trade publications, Gordon is a Certified Public Accountant and graduate of Northeastern University in Boston where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Accounting and Management. Great advice for small service business owners

Overall, I thought this book was really good. Definitely a really quick read. I bought it as an investor in a pest control company and while there's not anything really ground breaking in terms of ideas, the author manages to consolidate all of the key tasks that need to be focused on in order to be successful. Would have like to see some average performance indicators for more industry type stuff, but still, a great read for any small service industry businessman that is wondering why their business is struggling to get over the hump.

This may be the best pest management business guide available

This is the single best pest management industry book I have ever read. If you are a small PCO you need to read this book, the book illustrates many of the key performance indicators that you need to manage and to grow your pest managment business. Using many of the lessons learned in the book and applying the principles discussed within, we have grown from a one man start up company to the largest in our market with >$7 million in annual revenue. This book is required reading material for all of our managers.
