South American Grasshoppers (and katydids)

This is a compendium of photos of some of the "grasshoppers" of NW South America. This is a bit misleading as katydids are also included, so the title should have been changed to include these insects too. And it is a katydid, not a grasshopper that adorns the front cover.
There is a problem with the identifications. In the very first section the "Monkey Grasshoppers" (family Eumastacidae)a pair of Orphulella grasshoppers are placed there. They are not Monkey Grasshoppers at all. I'm sure he did not want the readers to assume that they are, and there is reference to them on p. 72, but he could started the Monkey Grasshoppers on p. 10 there and it would have been less confusing.
But this is the only collection of photos we have from NW South America and
